In a day conference that took place in the “Technology Science Center & Technology Museum – NOESIS” in Thessaloniki, SIEMENS presented its view for the upcoming new Industrial revolution (Industrie 4.0), and the impact on the Food & Beverage sector.

Siemens executives from Germany and Greece, presented to an audience of CEO’s and Managers of the Greek Food & Beverage sector, their solutions and tools for the Smart Factory of the future.

AS Automation System Hellas, a long standing Siemens Solution Partner with substantial know-how in the Food & Beverage sector, presented the project of the brand new, fully automated yogurt factory of KRI-KRI.   The project entailed the study, installation and start-up of set, strained and traditional type yogurt lines, accompanied by multi-line CIP units. Edge automation ensured a combination of high safety, product standardization, productivity and efficiency.
