We replaced the old Siemens S5 with the new Simatic S7-1500 hardware for maximized productivity. It was seamlessly integrated in the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) Professional we used to replace the existing SCADA software.
The transition of all the functions to the new system was smooth and swift. The migration period lasted less than 6 days and the whole project was completed in 45 days.
